The Scottish Rite of Freemasonry supports speech, reading and language disorder programs at Appalachian State University, Western Carolina University, and East Carolina University. The tournament proceeeds go to thse clicins so children who migh have remained educationally behind for a lifetime can now talk, read, and lead productive lives.
